It is said the simplest of meals are the best. During my travels through Europe–especially Italy to me, I ask myself, why does my love of food come alive?

 

Every bite I take is a melody of flavors. So fresh, as if I picked the ingredients myself from my garden. But somehow, I seem to slow down, take a deep breath, and enjoy the moment. A sense of spiritual awakening. Sometimes I feel like I’m dreaming. A dream I don’t want to wake from. Florence–you are my love affair.
